Mrs. Julia Pink Russell is a native of Opelika, Alabama. She is the daughter of the late Mr. Charlie W. and Elizabeth J. Pink. Mrs. J. Pink Russell is the wife of the late Reverend Nim B. Russell, Pastor of Thankful Missionary Baptist Church, Rome, GA. They are the proud parents of three beautiful children Octavious, Nichole, Rachael, and 12 grandchildren. She is a member of the Thankful Baptist Church where she serves as an associate minister.

She attended the local public schools and graduated from Opelika High School. She continued her education by attending Southern Union State Community College, graduating with an Associate Degree in Data Processing. She attended Covington Theological Seminary pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Theology.

Mrs. Russell is a graduate of Liberty University, Lynchburg, VA with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Christian Counseling and a Master’s degree in Human Services Counseling and Marriage and Family.
